BALTIMORE?(WJZ)?In less than 24 hours, voters will head to the polls for Election Day to cast their ballots and end? Campaign 2012. Here in Maryland, several hot button ballot questions continue to get a lot of attention.

Mike Schuh has more on the final rally being held in support of expanded gambling.

If Question 7 passes, supporters say more money lost by gamblers would flow into the state treasury.

At an Inner Harbor rally, the governor, Prince George?s County executive, the leader of MGM casino and other supporters of the expanding gambling bill gave last-minute reasons to vote for Question 7.

?Six o?clock this morning, someone asked me ?What about Question 7?? I said ?What about it? Vote for it.? And she got an ashen look on her face. And I said ?What?s the matter with you?? She goes ?But how do you know it?s going where it?s supposed to go, to education? And I said to her ?If we don?t have it, it ain?t going nowhere,?? said Sen. Kathy Klausmeier, Baltimore County.

?Maryland cash, bring it back to the place where it belongs. Not West Virginia. Don?t let them spend you. Maryland cash, bring it back,? Gov. Martin O?Malley said.

The Question 7 opposition feels that casino operators are getting too good of a deal in tax breaks from the government.

The latest poll by WJZ?s media partner, The Baltimore Sun, shows 38 percent of Marylanders were for expansion, 53 percent were opposed and 9 percent were uncertain. That poll is now six weeks old.

The other much talked about and debated question on the ballot?is?same-sex marriage in Maryland.

Those for the already passed law have been producing new TV commercials and robocalls, one using the voice of First Lady Michelle Obama.

Those opposed spent time at local churches Sunday getting out their message.

Both sides say they will have plenty of precinct workers at the polls.

If Question 6 passes, Maryland would become the first state where voters have approved a same-sex marriage referendum.
